There are some weapons that do not belong in the hands of civilians.
That doesn’t contradict the 2nd Amendment. That doesn’t contradict the Founding Fathers. That doesn’t disrespect the Founding Fathers’ weapon of choice – the musket.
There is no right, there is no reason for civilian Americans to own a military style assault weapon or a high-capacity ammunition magazine. The courts don’t believe it. The American people don’t believe it.
And I hope that our Representatives in Washington get around to actually doing something about it.
