Alabama has one of the toughest Immigration Laws in the country. It allows  police to investigate and detain anyone they have “reasonable suspicion” to believe may be undocumented.

But lately there has been a lot of backlash over the much publicized detainment of two foreign auto employees tied to the state’s prized Honda and Mercedes plants. So much so that two of the architects of HB56 are having second thoughts.
