Maybe the answer is releasing your tax returns.
Harry Reid has been relentless in his attacks and taunts — successfully putting the GOP on the defense — asking why a presidential candidate wouldn’t voluntarilly release his federal tax returns. In a new Obama ad the narrator says: “Did Romney pay 10 percent in taxes? Five percent? Zero? We don’t know.”
But, if you’re an advisor to Mitt Romney, you’re probably making the correct political decision which is : Don’t release them, and take the pounding for secrecy.
