Rick Santorum, trailing Mitt Romney in the polls, got an endorsement he terms “a very big deal.”

With the South Carolina primary one week away, a group of 150 conservative influential evangelical Christian leaders, meeting at a ranch outside Houston, endorsed Rick Santorum for the Republican presidential nomination. Just what he needs – or too little, too late?
